My Brother Ryan's Wedding

My little brother, Ryan, finally tied the Knot to Lyndsay on August 9th in California. We had so much fun celebrating the two of them and seeing family and friends. Isaac surprised the wedding party with Pikake leis from Kauai. The only thing missing was our lovely mother, Stephanie. Bart Hansen read her favorite verses from her Bible and she was honored in the wedding. She was truly missed. I know she was so happy for Ry on his special day!

Kela's 5th Birthday

Kela couldn't wait to turn 5 and be a "BIG" girl. She got her first bike, complete with princesses and glittery tassels. The next day she decided to cut them all off and give them to her sister...Awww. She also had a beach party with all her friends. That night when I put her to bed she was so sad and perplexed. When I asked her why, she replied..."I don't look any bigger...I still look like I'm 4". And she was right. We did tell her she would be a BIG girl when she turned 5. She literally thought she would wake up and be "BIG" on her birthday. What a disappointment!

City Bus Ride

BUS RIDE!! We rode the city bus with Kela and Leilani's girlfriend's, Allaya & Allyse. We then went shopping and lunching at Kukui Grove. The girls enjoyed the new experience and Claudia and I had fun doing something differnet...not to mention saving money on gas! We definitely recommend it.

Kela's Preschool Graduation

Kela had a wonderful experience at her preschool. She made many new friends and grew up so much!! We were all sad for it to end. Her class all wore a single lei for the ceremony and then were honored with many more from their loved ones.

Easter 2008

Aloha! I'm so excited to start this blog so that we can connect and reconnect with all of our dear friends and family. Isaac and I are currently living on the beautiful island of Kauai with our two precious girls, Kela (5) and Leilani (2). We look forward to keeping in better touch with all of you!
